Simplicity

I like new things, different things, interesting things, fun things. I like challenges and changes (to a certain degree la) And I get restless and bored easily. But don think i'm anywhere near those really "happening" girls.. coz i guess i do still appreciate routine to a certain degree :p

But Colossians teach- it is one Gospel, one Christ, one hope, one future. Nothing new, nothing else. though it's not a faithful application, but think that was what subdued my restless-ness & boredom, to delight in that only one message of the cross, and be contented with that one God.

So as part of my outworking as a Christian, I resolved and am learning to find comfort and joy in the simple things in life, finding that silver lining behind every cloud, and that spark even in the most mundane things. And also when you understand that all things in this world will pass away one day, what is that one new experience that you have let passed?

The simplicity and contentment people think I have? It’s worked by the Holy Spirit, learnt & still learning by the sinner la.. not THAT ME as some think.. but I’m thankful though for His taming of the roving heart, mind and eye and will still want Him to keep it in check.
