For all of you...

There is a Higher Throne
Keith Getty

There is a higher throne,
Than all this world has known,
Where faithful ones from every tongue,
Will one day come.
Before the Son we’ll stand,
Made faultless through the Lamb,
Believing hearts find promised grace,
Salvation comes

Hear heaven’s voices sing,
Their thunderous anthem rings through
Emerald courts and sapphire skies,
Their praises rise
All glory, wisdom, power,
Strength, thanks and honor are to God,
Our King who reigns on high,
Forever more

And there we’ll find our home,
Our life before the throne,
We’ll honor Him in perfect song,
Where we belong.

He’ll wipe each tear-stained eye,
And thirst and hunger die,
The Lamb becomes our Shepherd King,
We’ll reign with Him
***

Dedicating one of my favourite songs to a very special family of faith whom i have never met.

She has gone first before you to the throne that sits above all the earth. And there she stands before the Son in perfection, in all His glory- finding the fulfillment of all the promises she has held on to all her life.
Rejoice with the angels as she runs through the emerald courts and sapphire skies with them, walking the paths of gold beside the silver sea. She has found her home, her life before the throne, honoring Him in perfect song where she rightfully belongs.

He'll wipe each of your tear-stained eye that day when you see her again. Where all thirstings, hunger and longings of this world will pass away, and you will ALL reign together with our Shepherd King- bringing Him glory and honor.

Praying that the hope of an eternity spent together, will help you through the grief of this temporal seperation. And know that in moments of weakness when the pain of the loss is a starker reality than the kingdom above, He understands and His grace will be more than sufficient for you. Above all, give thanks for the faith He has given to her and each of you, that you can be sure of all that you hope for and be completely certain of the future that you cannot see- because He lives!
