This post is long overdue, but better
late than never!
To and for my dearest honey…
We’ve known each other for 10 years now
(from summer of 2006 in Beijing!) and married for 8 (July 12, 2008).
And now after 5 homes, 4 churches, 3
countries and 2 kids; you are still my 1 and only.
You said the other day that “if you knew
what I was like, you would not have married me”.
Although I wish you’d make me breakfast when
I’m late,
Pray for me and show more empathy when I’m
sick,
Be more proactive in life and resolving
conflicts,
Give me more hugs and kisses,
And watch less TV.
I say “I knew you and continue to know
you. I would still make the same choice today”.
I see a man who is always trying,
To be better today than yesterday,
I can’t wait for God to unfold our story,
There’s no one else who knows and sees me
like you do,
We still have a world to see and many
more dreams to fulfill,
And I want to be beside you on this
journey and in eternity!
