Nasty vent

I just need to vent.

I have a narcissist staying in my house, and I can’t take it any more!
I might end up sticking to my word, to let her stay all semester (a few days or one day a week). But, I’m not happy about it.

Lesson learnt: to know someone before offering accommodation- at least something that will last a long time.

But for her to come in and talk about her all the time. Demanding everyone’s attention. Since I’m unwilling to give it to her, guess what, she takes Arthur’s time – who when he does not have enough time, scrimp on his time with me! And of course the people-pleaser does not how to say no. I mean, who else would willingly give up attention so he can do what he needs to? NOT the narcissist.

To demand to use one of the 2 bath rods in the bathroom, having Arthur to hang his wet towel on my closet door?! Seriously, you could not find a solution for your wet towel? We’ve had many guests before, none of us have given us this unsolvable problem. But of course, one will not expect less than the narcissist.

Sorry, i know you have tons of sob stories, but seriously, i don't trust you. i just don't. i will not be sending someone to your practice for sure.

We first offered to let you stay for the J-term, and then you ask for the whole semester. But we must be blamed for saying yes. So now i'm angry with myself too.

And now I must risk being a hypocrite living under the same roof as you for the rest of the dreadful semester.

Argh! Did i have to make my last semester such a terrible one? And quite an entry for the first one in 2013!

Ok.. I know this is my Father's world, and she too is a daughter of the Most High. Perhaps, that will be sufficient to get me through the times when we're together.
