San Francisco

The foggy city hidden in a mist
Drawing her lovers into an adventure into the unseen
Up the steep hills and down the valleys
Marvelling at how life and civilization grew on grounds as these

Her pride dressed in red stands tall and proud
Through time and tide serves her people aloud
Many men from afar have come not just to see
But also to experience and satisfy their admiration with glee

Beneath lies the great fault of plates
They shift yet not, only by grace
Ocean currents wrap her warm in winter
Such a geological and meteorological wonder

A truly unique and mystic city
She has captured so many hearts to claim her as their own
And others only too glad that they have once her known
Wishing some day they’ll be back in the embrace of her beauty
