There has been lots of mixed reactions to Kris's victory in American Idol, and lots of articles explaining why he won. I'm not gonna bore you with another one on that. But i just want to say that Adam is the stronger one vocally, he put up a better show in the finals too, and he definitely deserves to win... But grace won the day :) Not just the choice of America, but God's sovereign choice of allowing this underdog to win...
He didnt explode into tears when he was announced as the winner, neither did he react too strongly.. and i doubt he would make more news & sensation than Adam would in the days to come... But the final scene when he squeezed his wife so tightly when she joined him on stage, and hid his head in her arms... it says it all... disbelief and yet exhilaration to get something he didnt deserve nor expect he would- not something that he could ever express with words. What do you say to grace? What would be sufficient response?
